Balicasag Island has a total land of area of 25 has., 1.5 has., of which has been developed into a resort complex. This " Special Interest Resort" has been operational since October 1989. PTA together with the Philippine Navy promotes underwater sports and protects a marine life sanctuary showcasing a model for marine environmental conservation, ecological preservation and tourism.
Hailed as one of the best dive spots in the world, boasts of naturally ventilated and native-inspired duplex cottages and an open-air restuarant that serves international and local cuisine.

There are 10 duplex cottages with 2 rooms/cottage. Average size of each native-inspired duplex room is 19.64 sq.m. All rooms are screened with private toilet/bath and equipped with electric fan. Each room has an individual veranda where guests may enjoy the beauty of nature. It is deal for scuba divers and nature - lovers.
